How do you register an event?

Go to “Propose an event” to register your event. Submitted events will be approved and then published online.  

What type of event can be arranged for Champagne Day?

There are no rules for Champagne Day, apart from the fact that Champagne must be a key part of the event.

Do you have to pay to organise a Champagne Day event?

No, usage of the website, online listing of the event, and usage of the advertising kit are free and accessible to all.

Do you have to pay to take part in an event?

That depends on the event. We recommend that you contact the event organisers to find out more about taking part.

Can wine merchants/restaurant owners offer reductions/promotions on listed Champagnes?

You are free to do as you please. There is only one rule: Champagne must be a key part of the event.

Yes. But we would advise you to submit each event individually. This will raise the profile of each event more effectively.

I have just added an event to the website, but it has not appeared yet. Why?

Each event has to be approved before being listed on the website. We will process submissions as quickly as possible.

My event information contains a mistake. How can I correct it?

If there is a mistake in the submitted event information, you can use this form to contact us. We will deal with your request as quickly as possible.

Can I organise an event on the eve or the day after Champagne Day?

Yes, you can suggest an event for the eve or day after Champagne Day.

Do event organisers need to be located in the Champagne Region?

Champagne Day is a global event. Every year, Champagne Day attracts increasing numbers of Champagne professionals and lovers, and interested people to the Champagne terroir.

Can I suggest an event including wines other than Champagne on Champagne Day?

No, Champagne must be the only product being showcased.

I am arranging an online event. Can I publicize it on the Champagne Day website?

You can add an “online” event. When completing the form, select “online” in the event type category. Remember to add a link (URL) so that participants can register.

There are no events in my area. How can I take part in Champagne Day?  

 There are several options: 1) Take part in an online event. 2) Hold a dinner for your friends and serve one or more Champagne wines. 3) Arrange an aperitif for your friends.

I am a private individual, not a business. Can I publicize an event?

Yes, most definitely. You can publicize a “private” event on the Champagne Day website.
